ABOUT US

ASBME group photo.JPG

ASBME is a student-run biomedical engineering organization at USC that serves the engineering student body through academic, social, and corporate events. Students gain clarity of their chosen field of study and the opportunities that being a BME major brings. Students are also able to get a foot in the corporate door at the annual ASBME corporate dinner, attended by USC alumni as well as other corporate representatives.

This year, our motto is ADAPT ASBME. As the club continues to grow and diversify, the needs of our members proportionately increase. To match these, we plan to increase the impact of existing programs while also creating new opportunities. We will focus on providing more events surrounding professional and technical developments, letting students connect with recruiters and panelists to strengthen ASBME both on an individual level and within the BME industry. Additionally, ASBME’s central goal is to ultimately create a community for all BME students, and we want our events to reflect that. We hope to provide opportunities and information in every part of our major, such as pre-med guidance, technical development, and research involvements, so that the club can more holistically cater to our members.

As our club grows, we want to grow with it, so join us in creating the best version of ourselves and our community!
